Excellent news here -- Amy Adams took home the 'Best Actress' award at the Saturn Awards 2008, held yesterday evening at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Universal City."Enchanted" won two other major awards including 'Best fantasy film' and 'Best Music' which went to the legendary Alan Menken. Congratulations to Disney & the "Enchanted" team, but also kudos to the voters of the Saturn Awards who recognized their wonderful talent!
So far, I haven't seen any pictures from the event but I doubt Amy was there to receive her award. By the way, in case you didn't know, she is also nominated for a Teen Choice Award. The ceremony will air on Fox on August 4th, 2008. You can vote for Amy here.
The UK Premiere of 'Miss Pettigrew lives for a day' is tonight at the Edinburgh Film Festival so I hope Amy will be there with the cast & crew to present the movie!
